Why a HowTo on debating on IRC As with any medium IRC has its own character and properties that influence the way conversations flow and are conducted. This makes a specific way of signalling important, since on IRC nobody can see your facial expressions or gestures. This often leads to confusing and chaotic posting that does not help any conversation. For this reason, there are a few simple rules and signals that can improve IRC communication for everybody, making it more profitable and fun.

Repbin Repbin is a command-line pastebin service that is distributed, encrypted, and anonymous. It can be used to share texts easily, by just piping them into a command. Getting them is just executing a command with an URL to locate the intended text.
Repbin can also be used to share files, send messages anonymously, or even set up a chain of message mixes.
Lastly, Repbin can be used to operate very anonymous, very hard to trace RPC services - for which it was initially developed.

Finally, we moved away from the hardware we had for 5 years now and set up a new system. A lot of changes were made in the process. The Tor hidden service is now generally faster and more stable, we have two clearnet gateways to the IRC. We switched IRC server and services software. Oh, and we’re running on OpenBSD now.
We have not ported nickname and channel registrations, so please re-register and make sure that you have understood the new registration process.

I2P Anarplex runs several I2P eepsite destinations. They are:
For web access: anarplex.i2p 2pei6r2naufy54vby3iqyezyqdebvphe2kf3sklvuhhj5id7h5lq.b32.i2p
For IRC access: agora.anarplex.i2p	mchwn4yilm37nctwsxysuk37qhb4uroksyrofxhyz332ck4nkn7q.b32.i2p
If you are running i2pd add these lines to your ~/.i2pd/addressbook/addresses.csv :
agora.anarplex.i2p,mchwn4yilm37nctwsxysuk37qhb4uroksyrofxhyz332ck4nkn7q anarplex.i2p,2pei6r2naufy54vby3iqyezyqdebvphe2kf3sklvuhhj5id7h5lq
And this to your ~.i2pd/tunnels.conf :
[agora.anarplex-out] type = client address = 127.0.0.1 port = 6668 #destination = agora.anarplex.i2p destination = mchwn4yilm37nctwsxysuk37qhb4uroksyrofxhyz332ck4nkn7q.b32.i2p keys = agora.anarplex.dat
You can then connect your IRC client to 127.
